Introduction
In 2001, Previsionary invented Typango, the world's first
full screen rotating keyboard. Typango was quickly adopted by thousands of users
as the best way to type on a PocketPC. The latest version, Typango 3.0, sets a
new level in value and performance. Download the trial version right now!
Type inside any application
Typango comes bundled with Typango Jr. Access Typango from
inside any application and Typango Jr. will directly transfer what you typed.
Typango Jr. is a snappy replacement for the built-in keyboard.
Rotate Either Direction
Users of PocketPC Phones can rotate the keyboard either
direction to avoid conflict with antennas. All skins can easily be rotated from
the Options screen.
Smallest Memory Footprint
Of the full screen keyboards, Typango uses the least amount
of memory. Less than half a megabyte is needed for Typango, Typango Jr., and
several skins. Typango can also store skins on external memory cards and is
compatible with devices supporting multiple memory cards. Each skin is an
average of 50,000 bytes. Compare that with some full screen keyboards whose
skins are 4 to 10 times larger. Save you memory for important things like songs
and games.
Fastest and Most Accurate
Typango is the fastest and most accurate full screen
keyboard. It doesn't waste time drawing lights under the keys and can display
the keyboard two to three times faster. Typango uses patent pending
"Sure-Strike" technology to make sure a key is pressed every time you type. It
has a larger press area and no key overlap all of which results in the fastest,
most accurate typing available.
NEW!
Keyboard Macros
Typango is the only full screen keyboard that lets you assign
keyboard macros to make text entry even faster. Assign any series of keystrokes
to type in large amounts of text. Have 'qn' type in your name and address. Or
use two and three letter codes to type in long medical or legal descriptions.
Macros can also be used to reassign keys to foreign language characters.
Hundreds of Skins
Typango has hundreds of available keyboard designs called
"skins" which showcase designer colors, nature scenes, movie stars, and more.
New for Typango 3.0 is the ability for skins to totally rearrange the keyboard
layout. Typango comes with three free skins including "Nite-Lite", "Yellow
Tiles", and "Sliders". Also available are "Euro" language skins including
"French", "German", and "Spanish". And unlike some of the less popular full
screen keyboards, Typango does not require you to reset your PocketPC when you
switch between skins. Typango 3.0 is backwards compatible with all Typango 1.x
and 2.x skins. Check out our skin library.
Typango Classic still supported
Typango was the original full screen keyboard and thousands
of users are in the habit of using its unique cut-and-paste method to enter
text. Even though Typango 3.0 can be accessed from inside any program, the
"classic" text input method still works for those users who prefer it.
Design your own
Artistically inclined users can create their own keyboard
designs using our free "Skin Pak Developers Kit". The kit includes full
instructions and a sample blank keyboard that can quickly be enhanced with any
photo, drawing, or design.
Works with all PocketPCs
Because Typango was the first full screen keyboard for the
PocketPC, it runs fine on all older PocketPC and PocketPC 2002 devices. It
supports all the older processors including the MIPS and SH3 as well as the
newer Strong Arm and XScale processor. Typango is the only full screen keyboard
with this robust feature set thats runs on PocketPC, PocketPC 2002, and PocketPC
2003 devices. Users of newer PocketPCs should download "Typango
3.0".
Typango Jr. ($9.95 Value) Included for Free

Because of the overwhelming success of Typango, Previsionary
Inc. has decided to include Typango Jr. for free with every copy sold. Typango
Jr. replaces the built-in keyboard and is fully skinnable. It can be used to
quickly launch Typango from inside any application and automatically copy in
whatever was typed. Typango Jr. can also be dragged off the bottom of the screen
where it will turn into a small floating window. This gives back more screen
real estate while still providing full access to
Typango. Typango Jr. has
exclusive launch icons to quickly
switch to or start PocketPC programs without going back to the Today screen. Use
it to jump between Word, Excel, Media Player, Solitaire, File Explorer, and
more. Typango Jr. is the only PocketPC keyboard that has the quick launch
capability.
Trial Mode
We are so sure you will like Typango and Typango Jr., we offer a trial

limited to 15 characters. Download it now and start playing with skins, keyboard

Industry Praise
"Previsionary
pioneered the full screen keyboard with Typango. The new version includes
features that are sure to make most users very happy." -
Laura Rippy, CEO,
Handango, Inc.
"When it comes to mobile writing, finding the best method of
input is the Holy Grail... As much money as I spent on my trusty Stowaway, Typango is always available whenever the muse strikes, instead of at home on a
shelf like that elegant black beauty." - Richard R. Padgett, PocketPCAddict.com
"One of the
downsides of SPB was the accuracy. I always had misspelled words. Typango does a
better job. The actual recognizable key area is a lot bigger so you can miss
your tap a little and still get the intended text typed in. One definite
performance advantage that Typango has is moving typed text from the keyboard
into the application of your choice. When you have a large amount of text, the
delay that SPB has when moving text is a lot greater."
